Ponsonby Road was the birth place of Auckland's now famous café culture. The free-thinking, creative and style conscious residents of this historic suburb were first introduced to Atomic Coffee in 1992, and have remained loyal ever since.

Perfecting the art of roasting and blending

Leading the way in organic and fair trade coffees, Atomic Coffee Roasters sources 100 per cent Arabica beans from a diverse group of growers in the world's leading coffee regions. Two roasting machines are fired up each day under the watchful eye of master roaster, Ewan Cameron. He's a perfectionist with years of experience in the subtle art of roasting and blending fine coffee. One of the machines is used exclusively for organic beans, which enables Atomic's organic range to be fully certified by Biogro NZ.

The legend lives on

Now offering five blends, four single origin coffees, and a selection of quality green beans; the Atomic range still includes a direct descendant of the original Atomic espresso. As popular as ever, it has a distinctive fruity acidity and a complex flavour that includes notes of citrus and cedar.
