Awards
The Essential Cuisine range has already won the hearts and minds of a profession that has hitherto now proudly upheld the sanctity of the uniquely crafted stock, pesto and jus. Essential Cuisine pestos were awarded Two Stars in the International Taste Quality Awards in Belgium in 2007, judged by 12 Michelin chefs. And the Essential Cuisine Beef Stock won a Superior Taste Award in 2008.

Essential Cuisine was founded in the year 2000, when it was realised that consumers in the new millennium were developing new expectations of food and what they ate not only when they were out and about, but when they cooked in their own homes as well.
The company realised that the modern-day food lover didn’t simply want food that tasted great (that was always going to be a given) - they wanted food that rediscovered its roots: food that reflected the traditional and authentic flavours of yesteryear, and at the same time provided the nutritional balance required of today’s healthy diet. In a world that had fallen in love with quick and easy convenience, the Essential Cuisine range was the perfect solution for the busy, time-poor food lover.
