As an organisation, we are part of the communities in which we operate. And like all members of any community we have a responsibility to contribute to its collective well-being.

We depend on the people of our communities. As suppliers, they provide us with raw materials, as employees they create our products and as customers, they purchase our goods. And our communities depend on us. We are the essential customers for our suppliers, we provide income and meaningful work for our employees and our products enrich the lives of our customers.

We value the contributions the people of our communities make to our business and we strive to operate in ways that will sustain and strengthen their ability and willingness to continue their support.

Helping families put a roof over their heads

In terms of direct sponsorship, Cerebos contributes $100,000 a year to Habitat for Humanity. The contribution is shared equally between Australia and New Zealand. Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit, faith-based housing organisation that builds simple, decent homes in partnership with low income families. The families, who purchase their house over time, also work on its construction, alongside professional builders and groups of volunteers.

Each year, cross-functional teams from Cerebos Australia and Cerebos Gregg's in New Zealand are involved in building one of these homes.
