Terry Svenson

Chief Executive Officer

Born in Rockhampton, Queensland, Terry's student days led him to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree. Further study saw him achieve a Graduate Diploma of Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales. He also completed the Strategic Management Program at Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Terry joined Cerebos as General Manager Sales Australia in August 2006 after gaining extensive sales, marketing, and general management experience in senior management positions for global publishing and consumer goods companies including Addison Wesley Longman and Unilever.

Now as CEO of Cerebos Australia and New Zealand Terry is responsible for leading the organisation’s focus and efforts in three key areas: consumers, customers and culture.

As Terry sees it, commercial success is an outcome of the collective energy of the business being directed towards turning insights into new product developments which satisfy consumer needs; strengthening relationships with customers and creating supplier partnerships across Retail, Food Service and Export; and fostering an engaged, innovative and action-oriented culture.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) Terry also sits as a Director on the boards of a number of Cerebos Australia and New Zealand companies.

Terry is married with two children. He enjoys spending time with family, keeping fit, and is actively involved in community sporting groups.
