George believes that Cerebos needs to be continually creating ways to deliver a product or a service that nobody else can deliver in quite the same way. His role in this is to inspire his colleagues and other stakeholders to envision and pursue an ever-brighter future for the company. This involves helping the team to translate the company's long-term vision into medium-term strategies and plans. It requires listening to customers, encouraging colleagues to be persistent in understanding customers needs, and choosing ways to serve customers. It means ensuring that Cerebos has the necessary skills to be successful, both at the individual and company level.

George allows the people who work for him to do their best work. He is highly collaborative and invests large amounts of time with his people. He also spends more time than most focusing on the future and combines constant concern about the current challenges facing the business with eternal optimism about the possibilities which the future holds.

George has lived in the US, France, Taiwan, Hong Kong and is now firmly settled in Australia. On weekends he pursues an array of projects and interests including photography, kitchen renovations, perfecting the extraction on his espresso machine, growing vegetables, pulling weeds, cleaning the barbeque, making kites, teaching his daughter how to use her new microscope, running, and changing light bulbs. Or as we say in this part of the world, light globes.
